Researcher at the University of Queensland says they "don't know" whether Hamas terror attacks were "justified"
As though the October 7th massacre didn’t create enough anguish for Jewish communities, they are now forced to bear witness to endless obfuscation, conspiracy and outright justification for the attacks.
Tristan Dunning is a researcher and lecturer at the University of Queensland. He recently thought it wise to appear in a recorded discussion with Asim Qureshi of the pro-terrorist organisation CAGE.
When asked for his thoughts on the October 7th massacre in Israel, he begins by comparing it to a “prison rebellion” and goes on to say he “doesn’t know” whether the attacks were “justified” or not. You can watch the relevant clip below:
“If we were in the same situation, what would we have done?” asks Tristan Dunning. Well, just to remind you that what Hamas did was rape, torture, kidnap and murder innocent civilians—including children. Can Tristan Dunning clarify whether or not he would have raped, tortured, kidnapped and murdered innocent civilians in this situation?
It’s difficult to know whether the visual discomfort and swift exit of Sophie Haspeslagh during this part of the discussion was due to technical issues or a response to what Tristan Dunning was saying. I have reached out to her for clarification.
Of course, clips can be taken out of context, so I decided to ask Tristan via X (formerly Twitter) whether he has made his mind up yet about whether the October 7th attacks were ‘justified'. I asked the question over and over. Tristan was kind enough to reply to every single request for clarification:
Unfortunately, he didn’t clarify, but instead obfuscated and sowed doubt about the claims of rape and child murder saying “even the White House walked back the beheading of babies and rape claims”. He then temporarily protected his Twitter account and deleted a number of his responses to me.
It’s worth noting that in Tristan’s country of residence, the Australian government lists Hamas as a terrorist group, meaning any support for them would be illegal.
I wonder how his Jewish associates at the University of Queensland would feel knowing he’s unsure as to whether the sadistic slaughter, rape and kidnapping of Jews is “justified” or not.
Exposing the moral decay of people such as this must be considered a duty for all right thinking people.
That question is like a moral IQ test, I swear.
To be clear, the correct answer is "Of course not, none of what the Palestinians and Israelis have done to each other has been justified for a very long time, and it's is horribly past due for the UN to step in and separate them."
