The Battle Of Ideas
Great stuff Stephen. I'm at the point in this debate where the moving parts, ooer, interest me less than the use of social norms and the justice system. Increasingly, it seems to me that the issue isn't what people argue for, it's how they argue, or in this case refuse to argue.
It's possible to not even have a view on the claims of the ideology but to simply oppose the authoritarian behaviour. I don't even bother to engage on any other level because to some degree it's playing them on their home turf (not TERF) and they have all the rhetorical weapons.
Once the conversation has been opened up, and the crimes done in its name are there for all to see, it will collapse and hopefully take all the cowardly public figures with it.
